PulsePoint is a non-profit 501(c)(3) foundation committed to enhancing community safety. This innovative app connects directly to 911, ensuring that users are promptly informed about emergencies in their vicinity.
This app not only notifies you when CPR assistance is needed in your area but also fosters a proactive, informed community that cultivates a "Culture of Action." This approach is crucial in improving the Chain of Survival for those experiencing cardiac arrests.
In addition to alerts regarding nearby CPR needs, PulsePoint keeps you updated on significant events that may pose risks to your family, such as wildfires, flooding, and utility crises. With the simple touch of a speaker icon, you can even listen to live dispatch radio transmissions from a majority of PulsePoint-connected areas.
Currently, PulsePoint serves thousands of cities and communities, with plans for expanding to even more locations. For further information, please visit pulsepoint.org or reach out via email at [email protected]. You can also engage with us on Facebook and Twitter.
If PulsePoint is not yet operational in your area, we are actively advocating for its implementation among public safety officials. You can expedite this process by contacting your local fire chief, EMS representatives, or elected officials like your mayor or council members. A brief note, phone call, or comment during public meetings can significantly raise awareness about PulsePoint. Feedback from citizens does prompt City Hall to consider bringing PulsePoint to your community.
